I miss your laughter.
|
I miss your laughter, fun, and gentleness. I miss the things I used to do for you. I miss the time, now filled with emptiness, When each day was a stage for something new. I miss your love, though mine for you remains, A passion with no outlet to the sea, A teardrop in a desert, that contains What's left of my maternal ecstasy. I miss your presence, like a silent chord That anchored even solitude in grace. I miss, for my love's labor, the reward Of seeing some small pleasure in your face. All these I miss, and yet they are all here Within my heart, far more than I can bear.

For my Mum, the greatest mum you could ask for.

I feel you in the morning When at first I awake Your thought is with me With each decision I make You'd been around forever Since the first breath I took Now I have to go on alone But for love, I need not look Cause by what you bestowed In our short time together Will last in my heart Forever and ever Although you've left And now walk above I'm never alone I'm wrapped in your love /Enjoy now your long waited reward Feel peace that your love continues on What was taught to me, will be taught to mine Cause you live on in me even after you've gone 15/9/1956 - 18/11/2007

Nana
If Nana's were all flowers
And we got to pick and choose...
then you would be a perfect rose
And i would have picked
And choosen you!
I'd have picked you out
From all the rest
Because you're the Nanna
That is the best!
From the Grandchildren.
Thank you, Mum.
Thank you, Mum, for everything
You've given us each day
Thank you, Mum, for all the love
You've shown in every way
Thank you, Mum, for teaching us
To give more then I get
Thank you, Mum, for being you
A mum we won't forget.
Love Jo-anne, Danny, Sarah, Kathy and Andrew.
LETTER FROM HEAVEN
To my dearest family, some things I’d like to say But first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay I’m writing this from Heaven. Here I dwell with God above Here there’s no more tears or sadness. Here is just eternal love Please do not be unhappy just because I’m out of sight Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through, God picked me up and hugged me and said, “I welcome you It’s good to have you back again, you were missed while you were gone As for your dearest family, they’ll be here later on. I need you here badly, you’re part of my plan. There’s so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do And foremost on the list was to watch and care for you And when you lie in bed at night, the day’s chores put to flight, God and I are close to you…………in the middle of the night. When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years, Because you’re only human, they are bound to bring you tears. But do not be afraid to cry, it does relieve the pain Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned. If I were to tell you, you wouldn’t understand But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o’er, I’m closer to you now than I ever was before. There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb, But together we can do it by taking one day at a time It was always my philosophy and I’d like it for you, too; That as you give unto the world, the world will give to .
If you can help somebody who’s in sorrow and pain; Then you can say to God at night…….”My day was not in vain” And now I’m contented….That my life was worthwhile So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling very low; Just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go When you’re walking down the street and you’ve got me on your mind, I’m walking in your footsteps only half a step behind And when its time for you to go…..From that body to be free, Remember you’re not going……you’re coming here to me.
Happy Anniversary Song
I watched the gold in your hair turn to silver,
And the sparkles in your eyes are more each day;
And the clutch of your hand's getting weaker,
All these things say it wasn't yesterday.
My darling, Happy Anniversary,
You've made my life complete;
Once again, thanks for the memory,
My darling, Happy Anniversary.
The paper we have signed has turned yellow,
It's crumbling pages tend to tell its age;
But its meaning we will cherish forever,
And in the book of our lives, it's just a page.
My darling, Happy Anniversary,
You've made my life complete;
Once again, thanks for the memory,
My darling, Happy Anniversary.
